German Genocides

during WW1

The British blockade of the German Empire lasted from 1914 to 1919. It is often described as economic warfare, but the effects on civilians were much more serious. British authorities knew that people(/civilians) in Germany were dying from hunger, yet the blockade was kept in place and food shipments were still largely refused entry. Even when the scale of the shortages became clear, Britain did not allow a limited number of ships carrying food to pass. Even after german armistice the blockade continued until March 1919 and only allowed a limited amount of boats with food in.

Mass-deportations.

Soviets deported many German people into Siberia, Kazahstan and other regions, while this isnt targeted-genocide many people died during the deportation because of anti-saneteria, hunger, diseasy and forced labor and other things.
