Respect the person, not their religion. Many will call this take disrespectful — but i dont give a fuck. THIS POST IS WRITTEN FOR CHRISTIANS. IF YOU ARENT CHRISTIAN PLEASE SKIP THIS POST OR TRY TO READ IT AS ONE (ATLEAST IF YOU HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE OF THE BIBLE)

I wrote this post because many assume the bible says we should/must respect other religions, which btw is absolute bullshit (as you can read below).

But how we can respect people without respecting their beliefs?

Easily! Respecting people and disrespecting their beliefs absolutely DON’T contradict.

Okey, but why should we DISrespect their religions?

  1. Respect implies agreement with its teachings

If you have some brain, this is the only argument needed — but if you still don’t understand:

  1. A person is not just a follower of their religion. A person offers much more, like political & world views, how they treat people, honor, bravery, kindness, philosophical views, intellect
  2. The Bible is very explicit: there is ONE way, ONE truth, ONE life (John 14:6; note: it was changed by me, so YOU — the reader could understand more easily what i mean). If you affirm other paths as equally valid this ain’t tolerance buddy — it’s a direct contradiction of what we believe in.
  3. We should spread the gospel not respect other religions, YOUR task is try to convince people WITH facts that Christianity is the truth so they CAN be saved.

With all that said: Love the person. Pray for them. Be honest with them but never respect their religion
